Deputy Chief Minister gave direction to build elevated road in Chaudhariwas, Sarsod-Bichpari villages

Chandigarh, February 9, 2022: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala directed the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to construct elevated roads in Chaudhariwas, Muklan, Sarsod-Bichpari and Sachkheda villages of Hisar district. Apart from this, directions were also given to connect the new Greenfield Expressway under Julana assembly constituency with the old road of NHAI so that accidents in that area can be curbed.

The Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds the portfolio of Public Works Department, was presiding over the meeting with officers of NHAI and Public Works Department here today. MLA, Julana Assembly Constituency, Amarjeet Dhanda was also present on the occasion.

Dushyant Chautala said that an underpass should be made in front of the school on NHAI road in village Kilazafargarh in Julana area so that there is no possibility of accident while passing the road by school students. He directed the officers of NHAI and Public Works Department to inspect the spot along with the MLA to make underpasses in villages like Kilazafargarh, Kinana, Anupgarh etc. and take positive steps in this regard. He also asked to prepare a proposal at the earliest to repair the new bypass built in Julana city so that people do not have to face any inconvenience.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that Chaudhariwas, Muklan, Sarsod-Bichpari and Sachkheda villages falling on the Siwani-Hisar-Narwana NHAI have a large population on both sides of the road, due to which the villagers have to cross the road. There have been many accidents due to movement of high speed vehicles. He directed to make elevated roads in all the above villages.

Apart from the roads passing through the said villages, he also asked the officials about Bhiwani-Jind road, Pehowa-Kurukshetra, Muhana-Niyana road etc. and gave necessary directions.
