Chandigarh, March 7, 2026: In the demanding corridors of Healthcare, Dr. Pooja Parteek has built her reputation on steadiness, skill, and sincerity. Currently serving as Consultant – Internal Medicine at Livasa Hospital Amritsar, she brings both clinical sharpness and quiet compassion to her role.
Raised in Gidderbaha, Punjab, Dr. Pooja grew up in a close-knit community that valued service and education. Encouraged by her parents and mentors, she pursued medicine with determination, earning a strong rank in the PMT exam and later completing her MD in Medicine.
While many shy away from high-pressure situations, she found her calling in emergency and critical care—where timely decisions can change outcomes within minutes.
Her work spans OPD consultations, ICU rounds, emergency duties, and focused diabetes management. She believes patient counselling is as important as prescriptions, especially in chronic conditions where understanding drives compliance.
One of her most memorable cases involved caring for an elderly asthma patient in critical condition, an experience that reinforced her belief in persistence and calm thinking.
Dr. Pooja credits discipline, time management, and emotional balance for her growth. Her simple philosophy guides her daily practice: stay positive, stay composed, and keep showing up for patients when they need you most.
